I had a fantastic stay at Borg Sommerhotell! The breakfast selection was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and delicious options to choose from. The area surrounding the hotel was peaceful and quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel welcome and ensuring I had everything I needed. I couldn't find a single thing to fault about this place. Next summer, I will definitely be returning to Borg Sommerhotell. I highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional experience.

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a variety of dishes, replenished regularly. the hotel is in a quiet location with great surrounding views of the fjord and forests. the rooms were spacious, and we appreciated the comfortable beds.

The shower area lacked proper ventilation and had some mold on the wall. the lack of accessibility for wheelchair users or people with heavy luggage was a downside.

Rooms are spacious with plenty of fresh towels provided. the breakfast is basic including salads, smoked salmon, and cereals. the shared kitchen has a fridge and freezer available and there's access to a pool table, ping-pong, and football facilities.

One should be aware that this hotel is situated a few minutes' drive from Spjelkavik and Ålesund, and public transport is limited.

The lavatory pan was not holding up pressure, so it was filling and flushing water continuously. My son wanted to drink water at night, but tap water was warm from both taps even after I had the water running for ca 5 min.
